Collaboration Feature does not appear to work?

My students have tried to use the collaboration feature ? they cannot get it to work?

My students are not happy because they work in teams and are not able to simultaneously work on a map - like then can with google docs for example.

when you type in a email address of someone to collaborate with and hit return the email nothing happens ? it is not added?

Hi @demo,

there are two things which need to be done before you can add users by using there email address:

  1. The user has to confirm his/her email address, if this is not done, the user will get a "Please confirm your email address ...." warning.
  2. The user has to set his/her email address to public, see your profile page, "Email is public?".

If these two criteria are met, you can add the user by using there email address.
