"Could not load Building Panel."

A student is trying to use Rationale on an iPad Air. She can sign in ok, but when she tries to create a new map, she gets an error saying, "Could not load Building Panel. Please refresh your browser to try again." The same error shows up in Safari and in Chrome. Any ideas?

we only support Safari on an iPad, which IOS version is she running?
